Getty Foundation
In 2025, the Getty Foundation will support modern and contemporary art curators, directors, and museum professionals residing in countries with emerging and developing economies (Groups C, D, E of this list according to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita by Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) of every State).
Funds from the Getty Foundation may not be used to support registration fees and other expenses not ordinarily incident to travel for Getty-sponsored participants who are Iranian, North Korean, or Syrian nationals or to those from the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. At this time, Getty funds may be used to support Cuban nationals under select circumstances. Some restrictions apply.
About the Getty Foundation
The Getty Foundation fulfills the philanthropic mission of the Getty Trust by supporting individuals and institutions committed to advancing the greater understanding and preservation of the visual arts in Los Angeles and throughout the world.
Through strategic grant initiatives, the Foundation strengthens art history as a global discipline, promotes the interdisciplinary practice of conservation, increases access to museum and archival collections, and develops current and future leaders in the visual arts. It carries out its work in collaboration with the other Getty Programs to ensure that they individually and collectively achieve maximum effect.
