Manuel Borja Villel awarded Honorary Doctorate
Yesterday, Manuel Borja Villel, Director of the Museo Reina Sofía and former President of CIMAM (2008-2010) was awarded Honorary Doctorate by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Congratulations!

More Travel Grants! funded by The Getty Foundation
CIMAM is glad to announce a new call for applications for Travel Grants, generously funded by the Getty Foundation, to support over 20 museum professionals to attend the CIMAM 2018 Annual Conference.

CIMAM Annual Conference: Registration is now open!
The CIMAM 2018 Annual Conference will be held in Stockholm, Sweden on 2 – 4 November, hosted jointly by Moderna Museet, Bonniers Konsthall and Magasin lll Museum & Foundation for Contemporary Art. Two optional Post-Conference Tours will be organized to Espoo, Turku and Helsinki, Finland and Oslo, Norway respectively on 5 – 6 November.

16th Istanbul Biennial
CIMAM Members are welcome to join the 16th Istanbul Biennial for the professional preview on 10, 11, 12, 13 September 2019. The 16th Istanbul Biennial, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) will take place between 14 September and 10 November 2019. The 16th edition of the Biennial will be curated by French curator, art scholar and writer Nicolas Bourriaud.
