Nicole Schweizer

"I am joining CIMAM to expand the network of professionals with whom to discuss, debate, share knowledge, insights and preoccupations pertaining to the present and future of exhibition making - going beyond the borders of my national network in which I fully participate, both as a curator and as a member of the Swiss Federal Art Commission".

Nicole Schweizer, Curator of Contemporary Art, Musée Cantonal des Beaux-Arts, Lausanne, Switzerland.

"A curator in charge of the contemporary art acquisitions for a collection that spans art from the 18th C. to today, my exhibitions focus on artists that find ways to question the status quo while opening up new paths for the future; as an editor of catalogues I aim to bring together the voices of scholars and artists, both where research-based contents are concerned, and in more experimental formats".
