Welcome to CIMAM to Marianne Dobner!
"In an increasingly divided society, public institutions may be the last safe spaces in which free discourse is still possible. That’s why I strongly believe it’s our job as curators to protect them. Having worked in public museums for over a decade, I am aware of the responsibility to find innovative and creative ways to engage a wider audience".
Marianne Dobner, Curator, Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien (mumok), Vienna, Austria.
"At a time when democratic values and their guardians are constantly called into question, it is more important than ever to work together across the globe. Sharing and exchanging knowledge as well as learning from each other’s failures and successes is one of my main motivations for becoming a member of CIMAM, as I’m a firm believer that research never happens alone but only in community".
