"To remain meaningful, museums must move beyond static displays and top-down narratives to become dynamic, participatory spaces. At MAP, we’ve embraced self-led initiatives, inviting audiences to co-create meaning. From open archives to crowdsourced stories, we ask: how can our audiences shape the museum? Technology plays a key role, through immersive installations, AI storytelling, and gamified learning, we’re making art more accessible, interactive, and personal".

Arnika Ahldag, Director – Curation and Exhibitions, Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bengaluru, India.

"As someone focused on intersectional curatorial practices, I believe that being part of CIMAM will provide me with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with peers who are similarly dedicated to rethinking the role of institutions in today’s complex cultural landscape".
