About Hamburger Bahnhof
Hamburger Bahnhof, founded in 1996 as the Contemporary Art Museum of Germany’s National Gallery in Berlin, hosts diverse exhibitions and programs focused on inclusivity, innovation, responsiveness, and diversity, while showcasing art from the 1960s onwards with an emphasis on new media and time-based works.
Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart presides over a comprehensive collection of contemporary art, which is growing continously and is presented in a variety of exhibitions. Through its exhibitions, performances, symposia, publications and educational programs the museum serves as a a forum for local and global communities.
