Fabian Schöneich

"The idea of founding CCA Berlin also has to do with my interest in art institutions that promote, produce, exhibit, and expand the discourse on contemporary art and its practices. I strongly believe in a transnational dialogue to explore the function of institutions dedicated to these actions. Networking, exchanging ideas, discussing, and arguing are some of the most important points in this process and the reasons why I want to join CIMAM. I want to learn, exchange ideas with colleagues, and contribute to a network that not only promotes art and artists but also emphasizes how important this work is in our different societies and in our present".

Fabian Schöneich, Founder & Director, CCA Berlin – Center for Contemporary Arts, Berlin, Germany.
