Schneider, Anna
Anna Fenia Schneider

"As a member of CIMAM, I would like to expand my network for international exchange and learn from the experiences of others, while sharpening my thinking and developing new visions for museums together. I also would like to distinguish myself as a far-sighted, fair, and honest leader in the field."

"The times are currently characterized by environmental and climate catastrophes combined with social and political injustices, as well as a dwindling sense of solidarity across society. Simultaneously, new technologies are changing our social behavior and cultural understanding without our being able to assess the consequences to our communities. Cultural institutions must address these issues in order to remain relevant and contribute to raising awareness and providing impulses for change. The questions about the role, the values, and importance of cultural institutions today are of such a fundamental nature that they should not only be discussed internally within institutions, but also in dialogue with colleagues globally."

Anna Fenia Schneider, Curator at Haus der Kunst, Munich, Germany.
