Aimé Iglesias Lukin holds a Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art from Rutgers University. She received her M.A. from The Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Buenos Aires.
Iglesias Lukin has received grants from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Terra Foundation for American Art, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the ICAA Peter C. Marzio Award from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for Outstanding Research in Latin American and Latino Art.
