THE ‘EL CHOPO’ UNIVERSITY MUSEUM REOPENS
Under the direction of Alma Rosa Jimenez, and following a renovation by Mexican architect Enrique Norten that has doubled its space and granted additional services, the ‘El Chopo’ University Museum reopens as one of the most outstanding centers for contemporary art in Mexico.
Housed in a monumental Art Nouveau building, El Chopo served as the National Museum of Natural History for almost 50 years. Since 1975, the museum is devoted to the visual arts.
